Our story
It started with a bad batch.
And honestly, the second batch wasn't much better. But by the third one, we were onto something.
How We Got Here
It was a Saturday afternoon in 2021. Three friends — a brewer, an operations guy, and someone with an inexplicable dedication to lagers — were sitting on a back porch in Bluffton arguing about whether the IPA one of them had brewed was actually drinkable.
Two of them said yes. One said no. They drank it anyway. Then they brewed another batch. Then another. Somewhere around batch number twelve, someone said the words that started all of this: "You know what? This is good enough."
That was the name. That was the brand. That was the whole philosophy. Not the best beer in South Carolina — just something honest, made with care, in a place we love, for people we like.
Made in Bluffton
We're not from Charleston. We're not from Hilton Head. We're from Bluffton, and we're proud of it. The Lowcountry is in every beer we make — the marsh, the river, the salt air, the pace of life.
Honest Beer
We don't chase trends. We don't make sours because sours are popular. We make what we want to drink, and we put it on tap. If it's good, it stays. If it's not, we learn something and try again.
Good Enough Is Enough
Perfection is overrated. We'd rather have a taproom full of people enjoying a cold beer than win a medal nobody's heard of. The bar is: would we drink it? If yes, it's on the menu.

We're not professional brewers. We're not restaurateurs. We're just three people from Bluffton who got tired of driving to Charleston for a decent pint.
Chris
Head Brewer & Co-Founder
The one who started the bad batch that started all of this. Responsible for the recipes, the brewing process, and most of the opinions about hops. If it's on tap, Chris made it.
Paul
Co-Founder & Operations
If something in this brewery works correctly, Paul figured it out. Handles the logistics, the planning, and the general business of turning a hobby into something that pays for itself.
Joey
Co-Founder & Head of Lagers
Has strong opinions about lagers. Stronger than you'd expect. Stronger than is probably necessary. But he's not wrong — a good lager is harder to make than it looks, and Joey makes good lagers.
